RIFF is a great interface for bass, acoustic and electric guitars. You will find this tool handy whether you are practicing, jamming, or recording. Sound is enhanced in the Tone mode using ‘three legendary preamp emulations’, and the core guitars tones are built here. The Tone mode also provides you the option to override emulations if you want to edit the analog boost or add some warmth.
To get the most out of this interface, RIFF offers deep connectivity with the BIAS FX2, where it takes full advantage of the state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processing functionalities and versatility of the Award-winning software FX2. You get access to thousands of tones and also have an option to use the features of Guitar Match by which you can match your guitar to one of your favorite ones. The control knob of the interface can be synchronized to the FX2 to customize multiple functions. The smart Auto Gain feature is there to analyze and adjust the input level so that they become the same.
For jamming, recording, and high-resolution purposes you can use the Direct Mode. This mode is also used for enabling zero-latency tracking. A large display provides visual feedback, and with a push-able knob, you can adjust settings and choose different tones. The Lights are there to show the Tone Clip, Direct (Monitor) status.
RIFF interface provides you the option of using 24-bit/96kHz audio and can be used via a USB. It comes with a free copy of Presonus Studio One Prime, a recording software. The size of the interface is small enough to fit in any corner of your setup. It has a ¼” stereo Line Input, 1/8” headphones jack, and a ¼” mono out port.
